I'm Rubie Jo, a brand and graphic designer in Derby helping business owners build brands that feel as good as they look. I specialise in brand identity, packaging and marketing design, including print and digital. Working with established businesses and ambitious newcomers who've outgrown DIY branding or need their design and marketing to finally match the quality of their work.

I work with clients locally in Derby, across the UK and internationally. Thanks to the internet, it's easy for us to collaborate from wherever you call home (yay!).

I often get told I take the words from your mind and make it come to life even better than imagined (which is honestly why I love my job so much, nothing makes me happier than helping you feel confident in your brand and design). I care about you and your business, and I design in a way that supports your goals and connects with your audience.

  • I'm based in Derby, UK, and I work with clients locally, across the UK and internationally. Most of my projects are fully remote with flexible, digital communication, from feedback to file delivery. If you're nearby or halfway across the world, we'll make it work around your schedule.

  • I help business grow a trusted brand online and in real life moments through brand identity design, rebrand, marketing materials, social media content creation, packaging design, website design, and ongoing design support through retainers.

  • Absolutely. I work 1:1 with you throughout every project, and I'm just as comfortable being your sole designer as I am fitting in seamlessly with your existing team, agency or other partners. I also offer white label design services for agencies, social media agencies and marketing agencies who need extra support.

  • No. I've worked across all types of businesses, from product brands and e-commerce to service providers and established companies. The variety keeps my work fresh and means I bring experience from different industries to every project.

  • I don't offer logo-only services because a logo on its own won't give you the impact you're after. I offer brand identity packages aligned to your business goals.   • It really depends on the kind of support you’re looking for. I offer different ways of working like one-off projects, design days, or monthly retainers and I'll always give you transparent pricing upfront to fit your budget and goals.
